Hi guys, I have a special needs student in my class (I teach 1st grade) and I'm looking for a way to better support their learning and engagement in the classroom. Does anyone have strategies, resources, or tips that have worked well for similar situations?

I would suggest visual supports, hands on activities, and breaking tasks into smaller steps... all of these are very effective when it comes to supporting special needs students. Good luck 🙏
