Reading recommendations for my first grader?Nora Blanchard

Hi all! My first grader is super into reading now, and I’m a bit stuck on what books to give him next... He's my oldest, so not really sure what books are the right fit his age. He loves anything that has to do with how things work, electronics, and space.... Funny stories and even comics... Any recommendations for books he can read independently? Thanks you!

Hi Nora! I personally love the Wayside School is Falling Down series (and so does my son 😃)... Also, we have "There's No Place Like Space! All About Our Solar System (The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library)" by Dr. Seuss which I also recommend, it's a great (very colorful) non-fiction book about the planets and space!
