Some days we’re in a great rhythm, and everything flows smoothly... Other days it feels like our schedule goes out the window 🤷♀️ How do you find the right balance between sticking to a routine and giving your kids the freedom to learn at their own pace..?
I have my weekly goals, things I want to cover, and then I have a list of fun activities that include, in a way, some of the material I want to cover. That way, if the structured plan isn’t working on a particular day, I can pivot to something more engaging without completely abandoning our learning. For example, if a math worksheet isn't going smoothly, we might take a break or switch altogether to cooking / science experiement where we practice measuring / fractions or anything similar...
