What does a typical day look like in your homeschool?

I try to keep our schedule flexible, but our day usually looks like this:

Morning: We start with some reading and a maybe short morning meeting on what we want to accomplish today, then focus on core subjects like math and language arts, when my kids are most focused.

Midday: Break for lunch around 12pm and go out for a walk or do some outdoor activities.

Afternoon: More fun hands on activities, usually involving science, history, or art..

Evening: If we get to this point, we do a bit of relaxed learning through games and reading

We're FAR from it, but I’d say a typical day for us starts around 8:30 AM with math... some days, long division goes smoothly, other days, not so much! We follow that with writing, which has been a challenge, so we use creative prompts and dictation to make it easier. My son is obsessed with space, so we dedicate our afternoons to building our solar system model :)
