Irregular verbs - Sports

A verb is a word that tells what someone or something does. It can show an action, like run, eat, or jump, or a state of being, like is or was. Some verbs change in the past tense in a special way. For example, go changes to went, and see changes to saw. These are called irregular verbs because they don’t just add -ed like regular verbs.
